Pollination Tarot

Tarot deck illustrations for the 22 cards of the Major Arcana. College assignment, 2020.

I based the theme of the deck on the floral and insectile world, because I find them endlessly fascinating, beautiful, and intimidating.

Each card (0 - XXI) has a member of either flora or fauna pictured on it, paired with their symbolic connection to that specific tarot card, and while most have a deep and timeless meaning, some are simply literal in their reading(which doesn't make them any less meaningful).

Since the cards are numerized, they're also accompanied by a planetary symbol or astrological sign which is connected to that card. (XIII - Death - Scorpio symbol).

I have also made the font used on the cards from scratch.
